To start, we’re adding a new plant-based butter to our ingredient list. The special ingredient is kokum butter(garcinia indica). This plant-derived oil is extracted from the seeds of a fruit bearing tree known as the kokum tree. Kokum trees grow primarily in tropical regions of India, and its fruit and seeds are used in a variety of ways, from culinary to cosmetic application. We will be using this remarkable plant butter in some of our new fall soaps!
